Oh... thanks.

These are purely Sydney-centric right?

Actually I am sure that 97% of the skegs from our youth have moved to Queensland - to us they are to be hated and reviled - to Lisa they are neighbours!!!!!

Yeah, I was wondering if I was being lumped into the skeggs catagory.. what can I say... I am fortunate enough to live in Gods Country.

speaking of skeggs moving from sydney to up here... guess who my new neighbours really are.... yep... you guessed it... .there are NSW plates on their cars and they are lily white... (and a little hairy? not sure what that says though... and I'm not just talking about the men  )

me... I've got my California tan back now thanks to daily walks on the beach with my ipod blaring at 7am every day before work.... (just thought I'd rub it in a bit)

What is this nostalgia night at the retirement home? Have a confession I have been to all the above mentioned parks except the Waterworks - wouldn't catch us Cronulla people out with the westies and their razor blades stuck on with chewing gum. That was somewhere near the dirt bike track that had a wire strung across the track to decapitate people.

Haha! That's right! It is a wonder that I was able to get past my teen years without some serious injury with all these booby-traps set up around western Sydney :D

The Booby Traps ar only in western Sydney Lisa - the skeggs put them there to try and reduce the bogan population

ok... I do believe you are taking advantage of my non-existant understanding of Sydney-centric lingo :D

I wonder is there a QLD-centric one? I haven't been here long enough to know.

There is, and you have to say it much slower so that the locals can understand.

Yeah, t h a t ' s p r o b a b l y r i g h t....

life here is a lovely leisurly pace after all.....

currently its a balmy 30ish degrees, I am sitting under a lovely pergola cooled by a tropical breeze and on the internet on my day off, I have a tall cool drink with an umbrella in it beside the computer and a frangipani behind my ear and sandy feet from my walk on the beach this morning... does it get any better than that I wonder?
