Belle is my #1 for sure. Books and looks - all good!
Mulan for #2. A girl who can take care of herself :)
Dori for #3. Just for entertainment value (and because I watched Nemo on the weekend so it's fresh in my mind).

All my lists are fluid. Usually the characters who make it into my current list are ones that I've watched recently.

I reckon you should!

This one's hard, but here goes.

Jasmine - I have a photo with her from Goofy's Kitchen, and she is the best dressed 8)
Mary Poppins - I love Julie Andrews, all class and classic voice
Sally - How can you go past a Porsche 911

Of course my most favourite is Ros (to keep in line with Keith's theme, and no not Monsters Inc Ros, but my gorgeous wife Ros), but I thought I'd better keep it to Disney Leading Ladies
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!

Mine are:

Mulan - she is just the right mix of toughness and girlyness
Belle - just because a good book is better than almost anything in the world
Sally - (the Nightmare one not the car)

Wow - I forgot to actually nominate my three...so here goes.

Belle - she's a princess, she's smart, she's loyal, she's a good sort. She'd make the perfect "girl next door".
Mulan - she kicks butt. A chick with a sword - great combo.
Theme Park Ariel - because anyone who sits in a theme park wearing fins and two shells HAS to be admired (especially by all the guys lining up for photos...muahahaha!)

(Lisa - stop rolling your eyes  )

surprisingly, I wasn't rolling my eyes.... I was thinking anyone game enough to wear what must surely chaffe with every possible movement, deserves her money.

Ok... this has taken me all week to decide on because it depends what mood I'm in as to who gets my vote. Leading men would be a different matter.... definite list without any thought required.

But back to the leading ladies....

my list:

Mulan.
Belle.
Ariel...

not really for any fancy shmancy reason other than what they represent to me personally. All these lists will be that for me - what they make me feel rather than what they mean to the role of women/what they did for the Disney company/how big their shells are... :D

Loving these lists by the way Sandie. Great idea. :D
