Who are your top three Villians?

Postby sandie » Sat Sep 20, 2008 3:20 pm

Mine are:

Ursula - a bit because she looks like one of my Aunties (a dead ringer actually) and a bit becauseshe is just so cool!
Scar - he is so droll
Hook - we both hate kids! (well I don't hate my own but most others I want to maim!)

Sandie

p.s. is that better Keith?

Scar from The Lion King (he oozes patient malevolence!)
Claude Frollo, the Minister of Justice from Hunchback of Notre Dame (who's Hellfire song is one of the best villain songs in Disney history)
Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty (she is just a nasty piece of work!)

Maleficent - the voice is just pure evil.
Darla (Finding Nemo) and Syd (Toy Story) - for some reason I find evil kids to be funny  A lot of their humour actually comes from the main characters' interaction with them. Syd gave my nephew nightmares for weeks when he was really little.
Cruela De Vil - I have had two great experiences with this face character in Disneyland on two seperate trips and I guess that's stuck with me.

Stromboli and Ursula rate as honourable mentions. :)

Hades - One thing that makes this movie great is that it doesn't take itself seriously, and as a villain, Hades does this so well.
Bowler Hat Guy - He had it all worked out ....

For the last one I'm tossing up between Scar, Gaston, Jafar and Syndrome.

OK, I've settled on Syndrome. He had grand plans, and for such a great and evil villain, he was still just a kid at heart (Something I can relate to).
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!

Hades - love his quick wit - and I love that bit when he blows out the blue flames on his fingers.
Frollo - he's just plain evil - fav bit.... when he squishes the ants
Scar - massive superiority complex combined with massive chip on shoulder - interesting combo.

with an honourable mention to Ursula.

Frollo - one of the more believable villains rather than being a villain for villainy's sake.

Iago - perfect ingratiating servitude on the outside but turn your back and...

Magica De Spell - hot (for a duck) and Terminator like persistence.

I forgot about Iago... I love his sarcasm.

Yep, she's perfectly wicked. Always loved seeing her in the comics. A girl who knew what she wanted. Might have to dig out some Scrooge comics and revist her, seeing as I'm still mostly offline.
