... but before you do that, Click on the My Maps option on the top left. This will present you with the list of maps which is probably just the 1. Click on the DUD map and then the box on the left will appear with the EDIT option in the top left. Just figured that out myself a well.

When I click on my maps, I get weather channel, distance calculators... poke a hole through the earth... :shock: but no 'edit'. :?

OK... next question..

how do I get a new pin for a new place?

how do I get my name on the pin thats already there. when you click onto the pin I am on the popup but not on the list on the left... does it not allow enough room or something?

I've gone in and added some myself. Got a little carried away, but I think it's good for us to show some of the landmarks and interesting places as well we've seen. Also, I hope no-one minds, but what I've done is double up in the text of a pin. Like in DL for example, I just put our dates on the pin that Mel made, just saves having a gaggle of pins in one spot.
That doubling up is a good idea. It means that we can just click on the Disneyland pin and see everyone who's been there and when.

Ok, well, I figured out how to put in pins ( it was a screen size issue) and then went a little nuts ... :twisted:

I've lost my google earth and am only getting a line diagram. I have uninstalled it and downloaded it again a few times with no luck! :(

I think I've finished mine now. A few more places in Oz to do, but I think I've done all the OS ones :)

How funny is that? when I went to add some more pins on nondescript locales around Australia ( in an attempt to appear well traveled... :wink: ) the Kakadu National Park pin had been dragged across into the Atlantic Ocean. By accident I'm now guessing, and I thought you might have done it just for fun as it said it had been altered by ScrappinSandie.

anyway its back on Kakadu now ... :lol:
