Just a quick update...

No hangover!!! ( and by rights I should have had) no rides either( although we could see the Claw ride  ) but it was the most fun Christmas party I've been to. The food was spectacular, The light show was amazing and I got to pat a tiger ( ok... it was a cub... but anyhoo) and danced the night away to the best music mix I've heard for ages. Brilliant fun.

Shame about the rides, but if you're having fun - who cares?

I went and saw Super-8 last night at the cinema. It has gone on to my favourite movies list. I love how it feels like one of those movies featuring kids that we all went and saw in the 1980s like ET, Stand by Me, or The Goonies. Della and I had a lot of fun watching it!

I will be making my kids watch "Signs" they are far too cocky:

"Nothing about aliens is scary"
"Movies can't scare me"

I don't care home much it costs me in therapy I am going to make tem watch movies until something scares the bejesus out of them

I'm fighting the flu. (probably good timing because Monday is my work anniversary date and I will finally have some sick leave again after going into negatives with my surgery) and I believe I am going to watch the new Star Trek again just for a "Kirk" fix
