I've successfully installed the updated quicktime player without incident.
I've also downloaded 7.7 iTunes but haven't been game to install it yet. Something made me look in the forum section on the Apple website and lo and behold there was page after page of desperate people trying to retrieve their libraries after installing the new update to iTunes.
Now I am a little reticent ( to say the least) to install the new update for fear of losing all my music.
The solution I guess would be to back up the entire library before trying the new update...
where on earth would I start with that?Some of it I have copies of, some of it I wouldn't know, some of it I know I don't and can't get copies of without spending more money. Sheesh.... this is a pain.
