SeaWorld in Dubai

Did anyone else catch the Busch Corporations aka SeaWorld announcement in Orlando on the 28/2? Apparently they are going to build 4 theme parks, shopping, restaurants and resorts in Dubai! They reckon Dubai is Orlando 40 years ago before Walt had an idea. It is predicted that Dubai is the next big holiday destination. Watch this space to see if Disney follow suit!

I think Dubai is already up there as a holiday destination! I think it is already far beyond what Orlando was or has ever been - yes I know it has no Disney but just take a look at the place.

My friend recently had his honeymoon in Dubai - said the place was amazing. Something like 80% of the world's construction cranes are now based there - they apparently have to build up this tourist culture as they know their oil will run out in the not too distant future. He said their facilities in the tourist areas were first rate.

They are also building a Ferrari Formula One theme park there too. It is one of those places I'd like to visit, but with so many construction enterprises occurring - I keep holding off knowing what is coming in the next few years!!
