Well, you may be interested in knowing that Danica Patrick (a female) is on pole position for the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
Of course, I'm sort of expecting her to cause a big wreck within 10 laps and take out half the field!
Hehe, you know it is bound to happen. There's going to be a lot of drivers and commentators walking on egg shells if it does. The PC brigade will be watching and listening like hawkes.Of course, I'm sort of expecting her to cause a big wreck within 10 laps and take out half the field!
YYAYAYAYAYAAYYYAYAY!!!!!!!!FROSTYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
I have to say he got dudded at Daytona by the weather. He had just pitted when the rain came so lost all his track position and was off sequence with the others he had been running with. That buried him in the pack during long sequences and he kept floating to the front when the others pitted. Unfortuneately, because he was racing in the pack due to his off-sequence pitting, he was always playing a lottery if a crash occured - which it did...he has to try and keep himself out of trouble.
Have they ever! Scott McLaughlin was definitely a rising star last year and showed what he could do by winning that race in NZ - but the way he's taken that Volvo to the front of the pack in their very first weekend is amazing. He has superstar written all over him. I'm sure the car is very good too - but I think the driver has a lot to do with this performance.Volvo have come out of the box well haven't they?
