Shelby himself won Le Mans in 1959 driving an Aston Martin.Didn't a Shelby built Ford win Le Mans in the 60s?
Yes, yes it is - it brings a tear to my eye!I am strapped in and ready! Isn't this just the best weekend?
It's monotonous isn't it? Ford have fast cars but more problems than a new release Commodore always knocks them out of the race. The Holden teams then find ways of all of a sudden getting to the front. David Reynolds has been showing this form all year, he has always been strong and in the top 10, it didn't surprise me to see him up there, just wish he would have made the lunge!Holden again...nuts...
Great race though!
Yep - he made a great showing most of the race, and then to get caught up in the big-one on the last corner while up near the front was just sad to see.Poor Marcos too!
