Gee I wish I'd known that, I would have liked to have seen in him the flesh (even on TV), even if he would have been 270 odd years oldAh then you may be interested to know that James Fraser was playing hockey for Scotland in Delhi this week.
Oh - how I loved The Wizard of Id!!!The Wizard of Id
Good thing I read the whole post before I opened my mouth.well guess what, only nerds read them! Then they discuss them in great depth as if they are works of Shakespeare, and anyone who doesn't get it are seen to be lower class citizens It's true - I know a few of these people!
I kept a wizard of id strip for years that just cracked me up. The character who hsf everything bad happen to him was standing by the water when a large fish jumped up and swallowed him. After much thrashing around the fish spat him out and dripping he says well that was pretty disgusting! Perhaps not as amusing in the re-telling.Oh - how I loved The Wizard of Id!!!The Wizard of Id
Yes Greg - It sounds like I need some enlightening! So Greg... what is your take on them then, considering it sounds like you read them...
See - that's what I said, but the people I know who read them say they aren't comics - they tend to intellectualise the genre into something that is much more.A graphic novel is just a fancy way of saying comic.
