Where to find the best deals?

We're toying with going to Hong Kong in Millies Uni break mid year and any advice would be gratefully received. She's still keen on Thailand so I'm working on her at this point. 
We'll be on a budget, but would like to stay onsite for the few days in Disneyland and then elsewhere for the rest.
Any suggestions for hotels offsite?
Also, any suggestions of best place to book the DL component? I'm not having much luck.
