Hong Kong Disneyland Managing Director Andrew Kam (who we all met in 2011 during the club trip) announced yesterday that they would be unveiling the next phase Hong Kong Disneyland resort expansion plans within the next twelve months!

This will be the planned build following the completion of Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point lands that are currently under construction.

In other articles this week, he has also mentioned the construction of new hotels at the resort - so it really looks like the little resort is about to grow even more!

This is all only good news. HKD needs as much as it can get. It really is lacking.

Numerous websites are now reporting that Star Tours 2 in Tomorrowland will be the next expansion announcement. From all accounts, this is a done deal but we may not get an announcement until the end of the year (maybe around the time of the Grizzly Gulch opening).

It is all good news coming out of HK at the moment - it'll definitely be a full 2-3 day park soon!
