Theme Park Simulators

Postby KeithS » Mon Apr 30, 2007 9:43 pm

Okay, here is something a little off the wall, but surprisingly fun too.

This Dutch website:
http://sims.themagical.nl/

Has a series of ride simulators for Disney theme park rides - namely, Tower of Terror at Disney-MGM, and Space Mountain Mission 2, Big Thunder Mountain, and Phantom Manor (all from Disneyland Paris).

I love the Tower of Terror and Phantom Manor simulators - it is cool watching the little people queuing up and walking around the attraction :)

Give them a go - you'll need a decent PC with Flash installed (and don't forget to call maintenance when the elevators fail or the scene lights go out! hehe)

Now that was way cool.....

Only I couldn't get the elevator to drop :?

Probably because I couldn't read the instructions- they were too small.

BTM was pretty slow, but that could have been because I couldn't read the instructions on that either.

I didn't do a great job of crowd control.... I couldn't get the elevator to drop so there was a bit of a bottle neck of probably irate visitors....

Oh well....

I had to call in the maintenence teams to fix my elevator on one occassion, so that might have been your problem, there is a tab on the ride controls with various options for when things break!

I also had the lighting system fail in the Phantom Manor - but I kept pushing the public through regardless!

All good clean fun :)
