Disney has just launched a new website for the 15th Anniversary celebrations of Disneyland Paris.

This new website is amazing (you'll need broadband...) and if they are putting the same amount of energy into the park and celebrations, then this is definitely the year to head over there!

Lisa, I know you are going, so check out the site today! (How many sleeps?!)

This site looks pretty jiffy.... great free screensavers etc but not only do you need broadband - you need FAST broadband....
mine obviously isn't up to scratch...... I sent an e-card and it took ages to send!

Not game to count the sleeps yet.... long story involving a job transfer that is, I am assured, 'still in the works'.... and dipping into my holiday fund in the meantime.

Maybe if I dowload one of their limited edition animated desktop backgrounds it might keep me on track for Paris in Sept.
Now.... all I have to do is figure out how ......

Or maybe I should just start practicing asking "do you want fries with that?" so I don't use up more of my holiday savings.

So, are you beginning your countdown? It can't be too many sleeps now!

As for me and Della - it is 1 year from tomorrow until we go to Tokyo Disney Resort! Yay! 367 days and counting :D (Damn you Leap Year - that's 1 extra day!)

Sometimes even the best laid plans go awry......

long story short.... In the first couple of months up here I hammered my holiday funds. I now have two jobs but not in time to do France the way I wanted. So the plan now is to do a closer/less expensive trip (front runners are HKDL or NZ) and then join in on the club trip to Tokyo next year. Paris will have to go on the backburner for now.

Thats the plan at the moment anyway. Anything could happen yet.....

Oh No! That's a shame - I was really hoping you would make it there. It would have been an awesome year to go with the 15th celebrations.

Still, it would be awesome if you could make the club trip to Tokyo with us :)

It is exactly a year from today that Della and I fly out! The others will be coming a couple of days later, so we get to scope out the parks first!

Just wondering, does anyone know the date that the 15th celebrations finish in DLP?

I'm struggling to get onto the 15th site so thought I'd handball it ...

Hi Lisa, according to this site:
http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/15thanniversary/

...they have extended the Celebration to March 2009! I guess that covers 15, 16, and almost 17 years :)

Huh? 3 years?

I guess they can wind up the 15th celebrations when they are nearly into their eighteenth and then swing straight into their 20th promotions.... how convenient... no wasteful non-promotional downtime.... :D

Now wouldn't that be handy if you could apply that to your own age? I wouldn't mind holding off a few years.

Ta... :)
