Flights are booked

Postby Mel » Sat Dec 26, 2009 3:56 pm

Jetstar have a pretty amazing deal at the moment and we got all flights booked to Tokyo, including a seat for Jared, for just under $2500! We're really happy with that. We've been umming and ahhing over whether we could afford this trip, but now we're locked in - woohoo!!! It'll be the boys' first trip to Disney: Ben would have just turned three and Jared will be 16 months :) I can't wait to see them enjoy the Disney magic.

We go on May 18, parks on the 19th!

I'm so excited, it took me three hours to get to sleep last night  and that's with the trip still five months away

We're not thrilled with the flight times on the way there, we leave here at 7am (will be leaving home around 3am for the airport!), stopover in Cairns and then arrive in Tokyo at 8pm, which means no limousine bus. We'll have to catch the NEX which would be fine, but may be a challenge with the two tired tots. Then change at Tokyo station and then catch the monorail. It will be quite an arrival - but well worth it I'm sure!

Craig and I love Tokyo, we can't wait to show it to our boys -/ -/

Sounds good Sandie, but it's kind of pricey. This is supposed to be a really budget-price trip.

We just found out the JTTCOTE is closed while we are there :( Not terrible news for me since I'm hoping to be up the duff again by then, but Craig is disappointed. It's his fave ride at Tokyo.
