Rafiki's Planet Watch

Postby KeithS » Thu Sep 27, 2018 4:58 pm

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Disney is closing Rafiki's Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom next month.  That's a shame, I always liked the train trip out to Rafiki's as it got you away from the hustle and bustle of the main park.

There is no news on whether they plan to build something new there yet.  They also said the animal health care programmes will remain in other parts of the Animal Kingdom facility.

It's been a seriously long time now since I've been there but I don't remember this one.

I agree with the sentiment about the train trip and escaping the hustle and bustle. However I’m sure Disney see this as a bit of a waste of very usable space and would be making some grand plans for it.
