the Phineas and Ferb attraction
That is so great - I'm glad she is in a park and working in a role where she can chat to people! And I can't imagine it is a role where there'd be too many complaints to handle. It'll be hot out there though - hope she's got sunscreen!

How did she love traditions??? It was my favorite part!
Judging by the photos we have seen and the fact she was still awake at 3:30am after Traditions and then being in MK, I think she really enjoyed it. Mickey bought in all the name badges to be handed out for them. Haven't heard any more yet, I'm guessing when we speak to her next we will.
Where is Jess staying? Chattan manor??? ( that I where I was).
She is in Vista Way, not the one she ticked as her preferred, but then at the end of the day, it's a room with a bed and a nice roommate. Positive is they are the last stop for the busses on their way to work, so it will only take 15 mins to get to Epcot.
Lol wait till she gets to property control! ( the cast member only merchandise discount shop!!!) I visited there frequently!!!!!!!
I suspect so will she.

I agree Keith. A role like this will be very interactive, more so than, say a ride attendant. And she will likely get a lot of people stop and ask her for directions as well, which will be another form of interaction. I think she will enjoy it and come back so different. She doesn't seem it because she can be quiet and reserved, but she will talk to anyone anytime, so it could be the ideal role. And yes we've already discussed the sunscreen and plenty of water with her.

As mentioned she had traditions today, where they get their name badge, Id (read free theme park entry :) ) and their ears. We speak to her nearly everyday through the magic of FaceTime, so sometime in the next 24 hours or so we'll hear all about it. When she eventually wakes up, her and her friend are going to AK and then to MK in the evening.

Good to see Jess has her name badge Anthony!

And I laughed when I read she out at the MK until 2am and was still posting pictures at 3am - I remember the days when I could pull all-nighters!!

She did it the following night at magic kingdom again, till the early hours, then the next day, Sunday, at Hollywood Studios till closing, so home around midnight, then had to be up and at her orientation at 7:30 Monday morning. She's making the most of her time for sure. And I'm with you a Keith, I remember when I could do that, not any more.

She gave us a reasonably graphic but brief description of the tunnels under MK. She described them as a car park, with rooms. Which isn't far from what I imagined them to be like.

That's a good description. When I was down there, I was surprised by how busy it was - vehicles and people going every which way - it was quite incredible.

Spoke to her this morning. First full week over, and it's like she's been there for ages. She's in the routine and it's all go. Had a few closures this week due to lightning, sounds as though it's a process they manage very well. They really look out for their staff safety.

It's hard to believe Jess has been away for 5 weeks today, it's gone quick. We're settled into a routine of facetiming once a week due to her shifts etc, which is fine. Last Monday she went to the baseball, Rays v Red Sox, and enjoyed that. That will be her cultural activity for the month. This week just gone, she was on closing every night, so aside from her normal job with Agent P, she was required to make sure that World Showcase is empty and then make their way to front of park, wave everyone goodbye and then finish. She will also have assisted in the handicap section of Illuminations. So it's action packed for her most days. She is getting very positive comments from guests, even having guests come and say goodbye before they leave. The experience is definitely turning out to be a good one so far.

Jess has started her Uni course and is really enjoying it. This week was week 2 out of 11. It's full on with assignments and exams, so they're not there to enjoy the scenery. Imagine having attended Disney University on your résumé?

Every now and then she is required to do crowd management at the Food and Wine concert series as well, so she'll get to see most the acts. This is done in her regular Phineas and Ferb costume. Also this week she is being trained on Fastpass+ so will then be shifted on the Fastpass kiosks periodically, they get a separate costume for this.
