Today is the 40th Birthday of Walt Disney World in Orlando! It is a shame that Disney haven't celebrated with a big event, however the Disney Parks Blog have been running some fun historical articles in the last few days - with great photos from WDW's construction.

You're probably right. We were at DL during the 40th anniversary year and it was really nothing compared to what they did for the 50th.
