URGENT _ Feedback needed

I have the op. to get flights for $1700 to Orlando but its with Delta - anyone had any experience?

That's cheap! I know some of the Australians on DISboards have had experience with Delta. On the Australian section they have had a few chats about it, so you can get some feedback from there.

I flew Delta many, many years ago.... 1997? Anyway, they were fine, a lot better than some of my experiences with American actually! Don't know what they are like now, but gee that is a cheap flight!

Only flown United. But I'd be looking at the time of day it leaves and arrives as well as the length of the flight and how many stopovers. We went for cheap and flew the equivalent from Sydney to Perth via Darwin - it makes for a long day and may mean you get off on a slow start when you arrive.

Leaves Sydney at 11.30 arrives LA around 6.30. Leaves LA 9.45am direct to Orlando arriving around 4.30.

I decided to go for it and the TA has put a hold on my seats until next Friday - Which is the big R day dollarwise and I guess if I change me mind I will but the $3000 we are saving can be so beter spent.
