It will be interesting to see how HKDL goes in the future, and not just from the virus.

Wow Greg, how to bring us all down with a reality check!  I was ready to pack my bags and go sit at the airport...... I have a trip from January still to finish.
Seriously though, I wonder how LA theme parks and the hotels and other businesses that rely on them are going?  Truly tough times for too many :(

Sorry. :-(

I would have finished trips to both Hong Kong and Tokyo by now this year. I'm hanging out for Hong Kong because it's only a couple of hours and usually less than $200 for a return ticket.

I can only dream of a $200 flight to a Disney Park (actually right now I can only dream of any flight to a Disney Park).  You may be the first one of us to get to a park.  I believe Japan is hoping to open up to International tourists next Spring?  Hopefully that goes ahead.

At this stage I'm just planning 2022 when my next set of Long Service Leave kicks in.  I have two trips planned to the USA (visiting WDW) that year to celebrate my birthday at the start of the year and my sister's birthday later in the year.

Hope everyone is still going well and getting through whatever level of restrictions or lockdowns are in place within your city.

Yes - I heard on the news last night that they were hoping to have a bubble with Japan. So maybe there is a chance to get to a park next year...

The way Thailand has handled all of this I'm hopeful of a trip to Japan as well.

I read the news from Australia each morning and the concern and panic over a couple of dozen cases, not deaths just cases, and then I read the US news. Bit of a difference in attitude.

I guess our attitude is the less cases, the more normal we can be while saving the most number of lives - especially our older residents.

Keeps making me thing that "go hard and go early" was the right tactic all along.

Looks that way - going hard on any outbreak seems to be working here for us.

Yes, as much as some of our states have been closed off from each other, it has paid off for us. Ironically, the year I can't travel and I haven't missed a Disneyana meeting yet! I won't make the lunch or dinner of course but I will make the last meeting of the year.
