And now we've just lost Disneyland Resort in Anaheim until the end of March.
So only Paris and Orlando remain open.
To be honest I'd pay whatever they charge just to go, regardless of crowds! Considering what I pay for a 2hr theatre performance, a few days at a Disney park is still good value. I agree that any place with large gatherings will be some of the last to open and they will all currently have their heads down working out the best re-opening strategy and how their venue will operate. I'm on a WDW Facebook page and those who live in the area were utilising anything that was still open at the hotels or Disney Springs prior to the full shutdown and I have no doubt they'll go back as places open, regardless of how little is open.Would you be willing to pay more if it meant smaller crowds, shorter lines with more spacing? I agree though that the logistics of keeping a place like Disneyland sterile between riders would be horrendous. I have a feeling that places like Theme Parks are way down the governments list of places to re-open and Disney would not like to be in the history books as the starting place of the second wave of infections.

I can see the parades and fireworks going ahead but with well policed spacing and strictly controlled viewing areas. Restaurants can possibly open with greater spacing in the dining areas and a thorough clean between diners. Water parks and swimming pools will be a long time before they can re-open. I think the only way they can have any hope of controlling spacing in the ride queues in reduced numbers of people in the parks as a whole or some sort of coupon/fast track system where people only queue up for a limited time and are taken directly to the ride in small groups.Yeah - it is an interesting question - how will they reopen the parks. I'm guessing it'll be reduced numbers and no fireworks or parades to start with. But no one really knows.
2022! Damn!
Any opening won't help us of course - we are stuck here until 2022 from the sounds of it!
