I just read the the bartender was played by the actor who played the bartender on Deadwood, which is a nice touch.

I am loving The Mandalorian season 2.
But I have to add my name to the list of people who found the egg eating by baby Yoda disturbing.

I like how he's always eating things - whether it is space frogs, eggs or anything - I think it is cool that they've added that to his personality - he's in it for the snacks :)

Not sure if I'm so keen on his name now we know it - but I'll guess it'll grow(gu) on us. :)

Well - have we all watched the final?

That was some amazing Star Wars in that one episode...

I watched it! I watched it!

That was so cool as an old time Star Wars fan. Had to get past a bit of the uncanny valley but nothing that took away from how cool it was.

Between that ending and the post credits part I really wonder what is going to happen in a year (we have to wait a year :( ) and just how the story is going to go forward.

So much Star Wars stuff in the future that it's managing to warm my old, cold heart. :D

Well I'm FINALLY making time to watch Disney+, largely because I visited my Disney-loving sister in Canberra
Nutcracker and the 4 Realms - felt like it started slow but was great in the end
Decorating Disney at Christmas - loved this
Into the Unknown - I'd watched the first but so interesting to see them all (then we rewatched Frozen II)
Waking Sleeping Beauty - great but a lot of names & info, I feel like I need to watch it again
On Pointe - fantastic documentary about the School of American Ballet

Since returning home I've seen the first 2 eps of The Imagineering Story. I thought it would be a great way to immerse in Disney but it did pull at my heartstrings - one interviewee mentioned that Walt said he wanted Disneyland to continue going even when he was gone. That hit me hard.

That is some good watching there Karen.

We are liking On Pointe too - didn't think I'd like it as I have no interest in ballet but it is a really interesting documentary!

Loved the Making of Frozen II as well - easily the best making of thing I've ever seen.

The second "season" of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian was disappointing compared to the first. This "season" was just one episode long compared to 8 for the first season. It seemed rushed by comparison and lacked detail.

Given the name Disney Gallery:XXXXXX are there any other titles apart from The Mandalorian?

Sorry Greg for ignoring your Star Wars posts and just changing the subject all the time, I'm sure Keith will bring it back to Mandalorian (I do think Baby Yoda is cute though).

Just wondering if anyone has seen WandaVision? While I haven't seen any Marvel movies or TV shows and will not have the time to play catch up, I have been intrigued by all the ads we're getting. One Facebook posts said, and I quote: "it's a mix of I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Pleasantville and Bewitched". Someone else mentioned a couple of these and added The Truman Show.

I have the first 2 episodes and plan to watch them tonight. I'll let you know what I think. The ads do look intriguing.

I watched it...really hard to describe. I think it is aimed at Marvel fans who will go through it frame by frame and look for clues and hidden meanings in everything as they try and figure out what is going on. For everyone else it's just a matter of watching it and wondering what the hell is going on. It is like a Bewitched type of sitcom but there is obviously something deeper.
