This is going to be a huge story in the Disney world...it seems the sexual misconduct currently running rife through Hollywood knows no bounds...

According to the Hollywood Reporter, John Lasseter is taking a 6-month leave of absence as head of Pixar and Walt Disney Studios due to alleged misconduct claims.

If more people come out of the woodwork - Lasseter could be toast at Disney...

I have a feeling that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg in regards to these claims in Hollywood.

I'm waiting for Tom Hanks to be accused, which will completely shatter my world.

This is  the first I've heard about this for John Lasseter. Any updates? I know this is an old topic.

I haven't heard anything further on it which may mean he did the right thing by just quietly leaving.

Yes - it is interesting nothing further has come of this.  He took a 6-month leave of absence so that should almost be over.  It'll be interesting to see how this is handled in the coming weeks.

Personally I think he'll just retire - there really is no coming back from these allegations, especially after he admitted to having problems.

That would have to be the best way of handling it from a Disney point of view. It would probably be a tacit admission of guilt but, like you said, there is really no coming back from it.
