That's an important story about Comcast purchasing $130 million worth of land in Orlando. As we discussed elsewhere a few weeks ago, Comcast's biggest problem with tackling Disney in Orlando was its lack of expansion space. Now all of a sudden they have a really big chunk of untouched land to work on in the future. Sure, it isn't all co-located like WDW, but you can bet they'll introduce their own inter-park bus system eventually to ease the movement of people between parks and resorts.
With this purchase, they really will begin to rival the Disney experience - their only issue is to work out how to exploit their movie back-catalog into theme park and merchandising experiences; this is something that really sets Disney apart (they have an amazing history of movies and characters).
