Disney store online

Postby Minnies Yoo Hoo » Wed Oct 22, 2014 6:59 am

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd ask if anyone else has recently found this when trying to place an order at the Disney store .com or see if any of the tech savvy people have an answer.

If I put something in my cart and proceed to the checkout stage the secure link goes and a yellow triangle appears in front of the padlock and says this:

Your connection to the site is encrypted, but Google Chrome has detected mixed content on the page. Be careful if you're entering information on this page. Mixed content can provide a loophole for someone to manipulate the page. This content could be third- party images or ads embedded on the page.

Is it just my connection or is this something new that's now part of the checkout process?

Hi Julie. Hope you are well.

That's not an error message I've had using the Disney Store online. I also use the Chrome browser but I admit that I haven't bought anything there for a few months.

I did have other issues with the checkout process back in July - when I went to check out, I got the rotating hidden Mickey head which didn't stop. I had to kill the purchase a number of times but eventually managed to check out.

I know in the past when I've had order problems, I've just emailed the Disney Store guest services and they've been able to help me in just a day or two - so if the error is preventing you from placing an order, maybe email them and see if they can help.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for all that info.

Yes, it is very weird and my motto is "if in doubt... don't" Just wanted to check if anyone else has had the same issue recently.
I have sent them an email but they want me to ring them and as that's an extra cost of an overseas call I'm trying to avoid doing that.

I've also had the spinning Mickey head that just goes and goes and prevents the order from going ahead. Very frustrating..............

Why do they make it so difficult for anyone to purchase from them, anyone would think that they didn't like to take our money!

Thanks again for your advice,
Julie
