Okay - here is something that I've never heard of until tonight.

We all know that Disney recently opened the Aulani Resort in Hawaii - but did you guys know that Disney already had two resorts in the US that were not on park property? Me neither!

yep... I'd heard of them ... in scrapbooking circles would you believe...

Yes when I used to listen to WDW today (2008) they regularly spoke about them when discussing DVC

I guess because they don't have a park with them, it doesn't hold the same appeal for Australian travelers.... I think there's a couple more as well but their names escape me.

I have looked into DVC a fair bit so that's howI knew of them.

We were going to stay at Vero Beach but it never eventuated - yet!
