Disney-Pixar, V8 Supercars, Mack Trucks and the Entertainment Store Group will be lining up at the starting grid this Friday 28 January for the launch of the Disney-Pixar CARS Truck Tour 2011 - a major travelling attraction featuring a CARS adorned Mack Truck that will entertain families all over Australia.
Helping wave the checkered flag will be Ford Performance Racing driver, Mark "Frosty" Winterbottom, representing the start of the 2011 V8 Supercar season, drivers James Courtney, Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes and the world’s first Cars adorned MACK Truck.
“Anyone with young children knows that Disney Pixar’s CARS is one of the most popular family movies of our time,” says Frosty. “I’m absolutely thrilled to present this world-first, full-scale replica of MACK the Transporter from CARS, built by Mack Trucks Australia. For the first time ever, Australian CARS fans will have the opportunity to get up close and immerse themselves completely in the CARS universe!”

A unique photo opportunity and media launch will take place at Sydney CBD’s Barangaroo site at 10.30am on Friday 28 January, where Mark Winterbottom will be joined by other top V8 Supercar drivers and Disney-Pixar for a first-look at MACK the Transporter.
This life-size replica of MACK the Transporter will first be seen by the public at the V8 Supercar Championship Series season launch at Eastern Creek International Raceway (Sydney, NSW) on Saturday 29 January. This opener is an official test day for Teams and will be open to the public free of charge.
Disney Pixar’s CARS Truck Tour 2011 officially kicks off at Mack Trucks Sydney dealership on Friday 11 February where the semi-trailer will fold out to reveal a whole world of entertainment zones and themed activity stations the whole family will enjoy. From Lightening McQueen’s slot car racing tournament to Maters Activity Workshop, Doc Hudson’s Driver Training Track, Ornament Valley photography, Lizzie’s Curio Shop and the ultimate CARS Playstation Racing Championships – there really is something coming for all ages!
