Disney Parks Announcements Tomorrow

The Disney Parks Blog has revealed that there will be a live announcement tomorrow in relation to future happenings at our favourite theme parks.

The event will be live from 2:45am Sydney time.

I'll update this thread with any press releases sometime tomorrow morning, so make sure you all check back in!

So what are we speculating? Some Marvel announcements? Some Shanghai concepts? A further update on the Fantasyland expansion at WDW? Something else completely new??

Actually, I think that would be a hoot having been in the park that day and seeing you or your friends splashed across the castle or where ever later that night... I guess its the same technology as what they use now to project images at halloween etc... only a little more sophisticated. I imagine they'd then make those images available on a disc to take those memories home?

Yeah - I was underwhelmed by this. I was hoping that for once, the New York announcement would be something new and clever - not a disappointment like "Year of a Million Dreams" and "What Will you Celebrate" - but I was wrong to get my hopes up. This looks like a fairly lame promotion. What are the odds you'll see someone you know get projected on It's a Small World? Not very... And why would I want to see projected pictures of people smiling in the park, when that's what I've been looking at all day anyway - real people smiling in the park. I dunno - I'm not excited by this one at all. Maybe once it is up and running, my mind will change, but for now - I'm not convinced.
