Toy story mania

Postby churros » Fri Aug 21, 2009 6:13 pm

Disney is releasing a Toy story mania game later this year with 2 pairs of 3D glasses.

"Inspired by the Disney/Pixar feature film Toy Story and the 4D Toy Story Mania! attraction that launched at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort last year, Toy Story Mania! is now headed exclusively to the Nintendo Wii. Join all the classic Toy Story characters in Toy Story Mania! as Woody, Buzz and the gang stage their own zany, fun-filled carnival. Toy Story Mania! allows players to participate in familiar and all-new carnival-inspired shooting galleries and win top prizes in mini-games. The game features multiplayer competitive and cooperative modes supporting up to two players, providing hours of fun. Bonus unlockables let players experience parts of the game in eye-popping 3D."

Looks like I'll be asking Santa for a Wii for Christmas!

And as very few members have seen this attraction you can take my word for it as being very addictive and great fun or you can wait until Keith, Della and Gerard give their reviews!

I'll be getting a copy of this for sure. Wii is so addictive at the best of times, this might just tip us all over the edge.
2023 Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines - Disney Wish. Going to be awesome to be back!

sounds good, I do wonder how much replay value the game will have though.

Sounds very cool! The Wii is by far my fave gaming console. I think it's time to start my Chrissy wishlist :)

It sounds really cool - I can't wait to see what the Wii version is like - we may need someone to bring their console to the club next year! :D

Having ridden TSM, I can tell you it'd take ages to get sick of riding it. I was thinking of getting Wii Resort for us for Christmas, but that sounds like something we'd all love as well... or maybe both?
Cant wait to try this out, very exciting indeed.

I wonder whether they will have the pull-string action on Wii- you need some arm muscles for that! It is a real challenge to back up immediately on that attraction.

the pull string action would be wicked.... and it was really smooth so I didn't find it taxing on my arms at all.

The only challenge of backing up immediately is the wait in line before you get back on. I guarantee your arm will be recovered by then

I was watching people play the Wii version at the Expo. You use the control to point at the screen and move your target, and press a fire button to fire - no plug string action.

As for the real thing - my arm was killing after playing the game! Great fun though!
