The cost is still $74.99US for the Gold membership and $64.95US for shipping.
I've just done my renewal for another year in D23 and the cost remains $74.99 for the year, but the shipping has dropped a bit - only $49.95. Plus with the AUD in our favour - this is even better value than ever.

Me too. I really enjoy reading the magazine when it arrives. I thought the article on Dave Smith was great.

I'd love to do it again given how much fun it was last year, but I'm not going to be able to make it.
I'm not too keen on the change of date either - moving to August so that it coincides with SOCAL school holidays and the high heat of summer is a poor move. I thought the September date was perfect.

I thought I would do a week in Disneyland, D23 and then a couple of weeks in WDW
Being a bit earlier also means the HM and SM won't be down for the halloween overlay

No, but I do watch his D23 video updates - I enjoy them even if they are a little fluffy.
I also watch the new Armchair Archivist videos on D23 - they are great too.

I received a renewal reminder email today and it said I renewed by 30/12/10 I would get a pin. Shame they didn't send the email until 2011

Ahhhh - what a pain because the pin is really nice! I received mine on Thursday and I wasn't even expecting it! Now I know why I got it
