Yes - I had dinner with Barry and Julie the other week and they were telling us about that ride - they wanted to know who the "Rocky" character was, they couldn't remember him in the film. Well that article answered that. He's new to the ride :)

A lot of the merchandise is based on the Rocky character; he is like a “hidden Mickey” through the attraction as well. He speaks once at the end.

I knew these were coming, but when I checked my joining email, it is dated at 1:30am on the 11th - so I miss out by just over an hour! :(

Wayne should be getting 1 as well as he got in on that day.

And there is more free stuff coming from D23 in the latest edition.

This time, we are getting 1 of 6 patches that celebrate the Disneyland expansion from 1959.

Can't wait for this next edition!

Have you gotten your magazine yet Gerard?

Della got hers on Tuesday and I still haven't received mine :(

Della got the Monorail patch (with the wrong spelling)

I was reading on Micechat this morning, the father of one of the people who post there won the package of all 6 patches, and the Monorail patch was correctly spelled! Talk about a collector's item!

Hopefully my magazine will turn up early this week - although I've read Della's one now anyway :)

My D23 tickets haven't come either - I hope they come this week as I don't want to spend my time hunting down internet cafes in NY so I can get my email and print them!
