Disney 2008 Annual Report

Postby KeithS » Mon Jan 19, 2009 8:49 pm

It has just been made available!!

Download it here now if you are interested: http://amedia.disney.go.com/investorrel ... R-2008.pdf

It is usually a pretty big pdf file - so you'll probably need broadband - but you can also view the details at its official website here:
http://corporate.disney.go.com/investor ... orts/2008/

I haven't looked at it yet - but they normally have a lot of interesting things in them - I'm about to flick through now!

Well, I've read the report. It mentions Australia three times - the most interesting mention being that the Walt Disney Signature collection of home furnishings has been expanded to Australia.

The report has some great artwork from Up, A Christmas Carol, and a great new image on the back cover from The Princess and the Frog.

It has a mention of the DCA rebuild, and mentions that they are actively looking at other theme park improvements. It also mentioned the two new cruise ships are still on course for delivery in the next few years.

But there were no spectacular surprises in this years report - no artwork of future theme park ideas etc, like in previous reports. But I guess in the current economic world, a conservative annual report is to be expected.
