Re: Disney Cruise Line - Australia

I got on the club cruise okay - the day I logged in, there were no delays and processing was quick. The next day however when the general booking commenced, there was all sorts of drama due to the demand from Australia + the Hurricane in Orlando causing issues. They had to stop all future cruise sal...

Re: WDW 50th

I do seem to remember getting snow but it may have come in a cone. Or are you having Miami Vice flashbacks? 8) LOL - I just realised I was replying to you and not Anthony. I'm pretty sure he was there in January many years ago and the officially had snow when a storm blew down from the north. It ca...

Re: Disney Cruise Line - Australia

So tomorrow is the day a lot of people will have access to book the Australian cruises as that is the day Castaway Club Silver Members will have access. I'm going to log on in the morning and see what's available. I've heard whispers that there sales have been good from the Platinum, Club33 and Gold...

Re: WDW 50th

It was unseasonably cold - like a Sydney winter. Definitely needed layers! It rarely got above about 15 when we were there - just one of those years. Didn't you get snow in Key West when you went on the cruise all those years ago?

Re: WDW 50th

We’ll be there for 9 days at the end of January so hopefully crowds will be down a little. Can’t wait!
That's awesome - we went at the end of January in 2019 and it was very quite. It rained a bit and was cold, but no crowds - it was terrific.

And now we know the name of the second new ship - let's welcome the Disney Treasure and enjoy watching it also being built over in Germany :)

Re: Disney Cruise Line - Australia

Yep! So let the bookings begin :) We're looking at the Hawaii to Sydney trip - and then maybe the Christmas Cruise - we'll see. I'd figured out the dates months ago as the Ports NSW publish a spreadsheet of all the upcoming ship movements in and out of Sydney up to 2025 (they have to be booked a lon...

Re: Disney Cruise Line - Australia

I wonder if D23 will be when they announce something I can almost guarantee it - I pretty much know the dates of the Sydney cruises already - they'll be beginning late Oct-Nov 2023 (possibly the 27-28 Oct 2023) and going through to Feb 2024 using a mixture of both the Overseas Passenger Terminal an...

Re: Two new cruise ships!

Ros and I are booked on the Wish sailing Feb 6 next year. So looking forward to it, we’re sailing with friends we met when we sailed on the Fantasy in 2012. \8-/
Hi Anthony - great to see you here still! And well done on booking a trip on the Wish :)

Re: COVID19 Thread

Yep - I'm not planning on travelling any time soon. Just using this period as a good opportunity to improve the house (need that indoor toilet) while I'm not spending money on travel. Hopefully we'll start looking at trips again in the future - maybe next year. I think Japan would be first on our li...

Looks like this story has been picked up by a few Disney news websites and youtube channels - no credit to us of course, but we had it first! :)

Re: End of Magical Express at WDW

Yeah - my issue with driving on the wrong side is that I look in the wrong direction for the rearview mirror - it is just weird.

Hi Greg - I'm still alive. Just been busy at home follow Della's mum passing away. Now we are working on renovating our home - currently we are getting a kitchen installed.
