Re: Disney on Ice

Have fun Karen - let us know if they have programs for sale this year :) Programs are for sale Keith, hopefully this time they printed enough for the Sydney shows.  It was a great show, I really enjoyed the mix of music and characters rather than focusing too much on just a handful of movies.  Get ...

Re: Frozen 2

I thought of the patronus too when I saw the trailer... I think it'll be tough for the sequel to really meet the expectations set by the first film - which is why we never really had many cinematic sequels to the Disney classics, these movies usually stand on their own legacy and I sort of wish tha...

Re: The Fight

Here we go again - another year, another resurrection of this thread :) It is one game each in the State of Origin with the final to be played this Wednesday night. Can NSW retain the shield for a back-to-back win, or will Queensland triumph like they have so many times in the past - we will know i...

Re: Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice this Saturday for me.  Looking forward to seeing what they put on. I always love the music and that they change just enough each year to keep many of us coming back.  Still have a few days to make one of life's big decisions - which Minnie Ears do I wear????

Re: Frozen 2

For some reason I don't get excited about the previews, however I am definitely looking forward to the movie and will certainly be seeing it at the cinema.  My goddaughter was trying to tell me all about it however the only bit I remember is Elsa's patronus is a horse (sorry, a Harry Potter referenc...

Re: D23 Expo 2019

While 2 months seems a bit away, I'm sure it will fly by!  I believe Wayne and Jennifer are going, anyone else lucky enough?

I look forward to the reports and reviews.

Re: 2019 Club Meetings

Don't forget the meeting is on again this coming Saturday 1 June! Who's up for dinner?  :)  Karen - can't wait to catch up with you again! Looking forward to it!  There's quite a bit happening in Sydney with Vivid as well as the Aladdin installations at The Grounds of Alexandria. See you at dinner....

Re: Lego - Disney Minifigures

Well I got the 7 I wanted (B&W M&M, chipmunks, nephews) with the first few by feeling bags and the last few after having a list from Facebook of the box order (which a couple of others confirmed).  Thankfully the next shop I went to had a tidy and full-looking box so I counted to the ones I wanted a...

Re: Lego - Disney Minifigures

The series 2 minifigs are out in stores now.  Jess sent me some photos of the ones she found in Big-W. In other news, it is my birthday today and Della got me the Steamboat Willie Lego set which includes the Mickey and Minnie black and white minifig - yay! Happy Birthday Keith!  I look forward to t...

Re: Keith and Della Hong Kong 2019

Mental note - tell my sister NOT to read this blog so I can pick green.  Of course I'll forget until I'm buckled in with the red laser gun. I have the issue of 'who did I buy this for', then sometimes I decide that maybe it's for me and just keep it. I felt for you & Della at the closed Disney Store...

Re: Trip Planning - Hong Kong/Shanghai

FYI - I don't understand what 'don't have too much luggage' means?  This is a new phrase to me. For me it means having more luggage than can fit in a plastic shopping bag. Of course your mileage may differ. :-) Greg Haha, 'don't have too much luggage' is a non existent phrase in my vocabulary.  For...

Re: Keith and Della Hong Kong 2019

I've been enjoying all the updates and look forward to hearing more first hand - especially the rides and which ones I may be able to do.  Antman actually sounds like a good one for me (despite having not seen the movie).  I always love the Winnie the Pooh rides although some spin a bit more for me ...

Re: Trip Planning - Hong Kong/Shanghai

I can reiterate Keith with the local taxis. If you have the name and address printed in the local language that you can hand to the taxi driver, or the taxi desk at the airport, they all have gps these days and can find something major like Disneyland with no problems. They are certainly the best a...

Re: Keith and Della Hong Kong 2019

Wow what a great start - and meeting Cookie within your first few moments in the park!  So great you could meet up with Elissa, Judy and their friends for a couple of dinners; the Enchanted Gardens sounds fantastic with the characters who made it a little more memorable.  We'll be staying at Explore...

Re: Trip Planning - Hong Kong/Shanghai

Seems the websites must have had issues as I've looked up both Hong Kong and Shanghai and these are available - also much cheaper than the travel agent.  Happy for any suggestions for visiting both parks though.
