This shot is awesome. The cast members in Hong Kong are the best (including the janitors!) They really make this a great park/resort.

I was just over at Miceage and saw their photo update from the Paris park - there has been a huge amount of work done since we were there - the repainted Main St facades look fantastic, and the work over at the Studios park looks equally good.

Mushu - I think you are going to have a great time :)

And you could come as "Sandie" Claus haha! (Blame Della for that joke - I was just following orders by typing it!)

Jim and I think that a Haunted Mansion and Halloween themed meeting for October would be a lot of fun. Julie, this is a gold star idea :D We can have candy give aways, and I guess there is plenty of scope for another Sandie exclusive Halloween/Haunted Mansion game :) I can just see this being fun, ...

Hi Sandie - Happy New Year - we haven't seen you around for a few days :) I like the trip planning idea too - we could have tables set up by destination (Disneyland, Tokyo, Cruise Line etc.) and you sit at the table of your next planned trip and talk to others to get ideas. Maybe get a guest speaker...

I hated reading this report. We wanted to go to HKDL for NYE this year, and now that I've read the report - I really think the people in HKDL had a better time than those of us in Wollongong for the night :) Don't get me wrong, the street party in Wollongong was alright and we had a great long weeke...

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. I hope we are all successful in whatever endeavours we get up to this year. I just wish I had a Disney holiday to look forward to this year, but it looks a bit barren on that front - and nothing could compare to the 2006 trip anyway :D Catch you all around and I hope to see ...

Re: Historical memorabilia

Was that guide map from a trip Della made? Exactly - she went with her mum and dad back in 1983. They were on a business trip but took in a couple of days in Disneyland. She had always wanted to ride the teacups and when she got there, they weren't working because of the major Fantasyland rebuild! ...

I have plans to make it to more of the meetings this next year Yay! More Mushu in 2007! You may have done this before, but what about a trip photo night. You missed our last meeting :D But I would like to see some historical photos - maybe from people's trips in the 1980s etc - maybe even then and ...

Hello Wayne - I'm looking forward to next years meetings as always :) I was throwing ideas around with Della about the meetings and what previous ones we have liked. We always enjoy guest speakers, but we know that these are hard to come by in this country. We also have enjoyed the charity auction n...

Finding Nemo Submarines

Reports coming out of the US this morning indicate that the submarine voyage will be reopening on June 11 2007. I also hear that they plan to refill the lagoon in the next couple of weeks - so things are progressing nicely. Anybody from around here plan to be there in June? I'm sure it is going to b...

If you don't come across the others, and you want some, let me know because there are heaps here in Horsham.
Thanks Lisa - I'll try the City post office - I'm sure the Sydney GPO will have them.

Good luck with the move - I guess you'll be very busy over the next couple of weeks!

Thanks Lisa - and yes I got Disney stuff :) I got the beautiful "The Art of Disneyland" book by Bruce Gordon and Jeff Kurtti; and the totally amazing "The Disney A to Z Official Encyclopedia Third Edition" by Dave Smith from the WD Archives (which I haven't been able to put down - much to Della's di...

Become A Pirate of the Caribbean

I spoke to Wayne the other night and referred him to this awesome competition currently being offered in the US. Basically, if you win, you get to tour Walt Disney Imagineering in LA and you get modeled to become a character in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride for 1 year! Now we know how hard it is...
