3 days at the Mopar Nats (don't even ask!)Sandie I'm hearin' ya Sandie. I have to endure endless discussions about mopar stuff from my 15 year old son. I just let him go 'cos I like to hear his now grown-up voice! I 'argued' with him for a week about the non-necessity of yet MORE mopar stickers fro...

Ahhh, but Beauty and the Beast is my favourite movie because I identify (and resemble) so much with the Beast, before his transformation. :( Greg OOH Purrleeeesse.... Is that violins I'm hearing? Going with the Beauty & the Beast analogy... Isn't Belle supposed to see straight through the ha...

The last Disneyland DVD that I purchased from eBay was only supposed to work on US machines but it worked no problem on our el-cheapo DVD player so you might find its watchable after all. I purchased it supposing that if worse came to worse I would be able to get the code off the net to unlock my DV...

Re: Disney vs the oringinal source

I'm certainly not going to defend the "Disneyfying" of classic literature Greg Actually, the 'Disneyfying' of the classics is what appeals to me. My favourite version of the classics has turned out to be Beauty and the Beast. I found many variants but my favourite was this one that I remember readi...

Disneyland photos

What do you do with the 100s of photos that you take on a Disney holiday? Do they live in a shoe/photo box or on a CD like lots of mine? I am slowly scrapbooking my photos ( and I mean slowly, the trip was 6 years ago!) and I wonder if there would be any other club members willing to share their han...

Re: mouse Adventures.

Think Amazing Race but in Disneyland. Its held in Spring and Autumn - next one is April 30. Groups of up to 4 people are given directions (a bit like a scavenger hunt, challenges, multiple choice rolled into one) and there are prizes for Ist home, Highest score, most cheerful group etc. Each time th...

I might dust the video off, hook the VCR up again and give it a watch, if I ever get a day off. I really liked Hunchback and thought it deserves a better rank than it normally gets. Frollo has to be the most well rounded and "un-cartoony" villian in any animated Disney film. Plus the song "God help...

Okay, forgive my ignorance but, who?Greg Megara - Quintessential bad girl tamed by falling for a Greek God - Hercules (as one does!). She worked for Hades and was meant to lure poor Herc to his doom. Naturally, this being the Disney version, good triumphed over evil and they rode off into the sunse...
