Re: The BIG trip

Which port was the Chichen Itza tour from and can you remember how long it took to get there from the port? Greg It was from the Cozumel port, and was supposed to leave at 8am ( or thereabouts), have about 70 mins looking around the site and get back to port literally just before the ship left... a...

Pete's Dragon

I saw this on the Fantasy too... my verdict is, more enjoyable than the original animation, would watch it again if it were on TV but still not something I'd race out and buy.

The BFG

I saw this on board the Fantasy and as a huge Roald Dahl fan, this was a truly brilliant adaptation of the book... I've read so many bad reviews, but the way it sticks to the laborious language that is a part of the appeal of the book was magical.   Without boring your all to death about narrative s...

Re: Hurricane Matthew

Well, I'm only just starting to emerge from the jetlag and stories I DO have...  Throughout the entire cruise, Captain Fabian ( who pronounced the word hurricane the same as the Swedish Chef would have - so that alone had me in stitches most of the cruise because he said it A LOT) was a gem at keepi...

Re: Earliest cruise from our group?

Thanks Keith, I was pretty sure that would be the case but wanted to make sure I was talking truthfully.  :)

Earliest cruise from our group?

Just a quick question...  What would be the earliest year a DCL cruise was taken by the members on here? Was just talking to someone on FB ( also in an Aussie group) who claimed to be the first EVER Australian to book a DCL cruise with FCentre and take it in 2012... surely someone here has been on a...

Re: The BIG trip

Chichen Itza (why was that cancelled?  I thought that would have been a key tour - I'd love to see that too one day). there wasn't a reason given but I'm assuming it didn't get minimum numbers... its on my next time list too ;)  it really was a great trip, which will be easier to appreciate after ...

Re: The BIG trip

The Disney cruise was amazing... and I hope to do another one day... hopefully the same Western route as well because I really enjoyed all the ports and we didn't actually make it to Castaway thanks to Hurricane Matthew so that is still on my bucket list. I also missed out on visiting Chichen Itza b...

Re: Happy Anniversary WDW

We were leaving the resort on the 1st for the cruise, so we missed the celebration by a whisker, but still managed to snag some merch to commemorate it.

Re: The BIG trip

I'm safe and sound... got home late Wednesday afternoon.   In the end, Qantas came to the party and got us home with only my leg from sydney to adelaide needing the change to be paid for.  It was an interesting few days to say the least with my insurance company saying I wasn't covered at all for a ...

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

I never got in to Pokemon - I downloaded it, but lost interest when I discovered I had to go out of my way to places to play it :):lol:   thats why it has GO on the end of it :)  I think the prospect of progress with the Kingdoms game is why I bothered downloading it... I really don't play to...

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

Currently level 30 and working on unlocking Flynn and Randall Boggs. I got Minnie the other day. Closing in on 1 million guests too. What other Disney games are you playing Lisa? I also have the emoji game, the Tsum Tsum game and the Free Fall games. I just swap between them when I run out of lives...

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

A friend showed me their Disney Kingdoms game today... needless to say I have downloaded it since.

I really don't have time for another game to get hooked on... but oh well.

Re: Finding Dory

Just little things that made me go "oh, that's really close to Nemo" and it would take me out of it momentarily.

Over all I enjoyed it but it's not in my top 5 Pixar movies.

Greg
yes exactly that ... on both points... liked it, but doesn't get all 5 stars.

Finding Dory

I couldn't find a thread for this so if there's one way back sorry... just starting a new one. Are we talking about this yet? Who went to see it?  what did you think? I went with my nephews ( which was an altogether different experience than on my own or with other adults "I'm hungry" "I need to go ...
