Re: 2017 Club Meetings

Very keen for this one, but will depend on what time I can get back from the city.  Swans are on :)

Re: Cars 3 ( could be spoilers)

It was good.  The story was lacking for me.  Too much of the original in there.  Animation was superb.  Really the best I've seen I think.  My former little Lightning McQueen obsessed kid was really adamant he didn't want to see it after that horrible first trailer, but he enjoyed it.  Not as much a...

Re: D23 2017

The Star Wars Hotel.... :o  I haven't told Jared yet.  He would LOSE HIS MIND.  Josh would love it too.  I think if we start saving now, we might be able to afford a night there in around 20 years or so....:?

Surely, SURELY we'll have to get at least half a year of cruise ships now - right?

Re: 2017 Club Meetings

How was the meeting?  I was flat on my back in bed after throwing my back out last Wednesday :(  I could have done with some Disney cheering up!

My birthday party - B&tB

I had my 40th on the weekend and we had a B&tB theme.  The first ever themed party I had and the first party I've had since my 21st.  It was amazing.  My sister in law did all the decorating and my niece, who is only 16 made the amazing cake for me.  Once it got dark, it was a total fairy land.  It ...

Re: Greg's May 2017 visit

The eldest (Ben) has a memory like an elephant so remembered A LOT.  When we went to DL in 2013 he was able to notice differences between Anaheim and Tokyo Disneyland.  He was six at Anaheim and 3 at Tokyo   He was making comparisons as we walked around the park in 2013... "In Tokyo, Splash i...

Re: Greg's May 2017 visit

Three years between trips.  The shirt made it down two kids, the blue shoes (which middle child only ever wore on that trip) only made it down one child.  The goofy grin remained in place on middle child for the whole three years :D

Re: Greg's May 2017 visit

I love that Walt and Mickey statue.  I did height comparisons of my kids between their first and second visits to DCA and I love them.  I'll see if I can figure out how to upload them here.

You're not helping BTW Greg.  I REALLY want to go to Shanghai now...

Re: 2018 Club Trip

Well, you still have over a year to price child-minding :)
I really wish I could, but I know I would have a rotten time without them.  The guilt and anxiety would take all the fun out of it for me :(

Re: 2018 Club Trip

  Just priced up 2 adults v 2 adults/3kids   $5000 US difference.  Why do I love my children so much?!?!?!  So damn expensive!  Obviously they saw how much Ben ate on our cruise last year and upped the kids prices or something....

Re: 2018 Club Trip

I half-jokingly floated the idea of ditching the kids and going on our own on this trip and Craig's eyes lit up... and then we realised that the children would never speak to us again if we went on a Disney cruise without them :(  One day we'll make it onto a club trip!

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

I log in a couple of times a day.  I only have Lumiere and Gaston to finish upgrading and then the new characters.  I'm still missing Jack Sparrow and Maximus too.  Every time I get close to getting enough Gems (I refuse to spend real money), a new release comes out and I use my gems to get the new ...
