Re: The Disney Store

I was temping when they shut down the Disney stores in Australia.  It was when I was planning to go back to uni full time (short-lived, I ended up working back there to get money to get married!).  I was temping at Parramatta and spent every lunch break down at the Disney Store, leaving with huge ba...

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

I downloaded the update this morning for the event.  It took an age to download and then load.  I hope it's not going to take this long to start up every time.   Time to stop updating my Lion King characters and to start slaving away at Aladdin.  I love that the events start on Thursday nights.  I d...

Re: New Ducktales

Oooh, where is this?  I need to see it.  I loved the original Ducktales.  I have the DVDs at home and the kids all love them too - timeless :)

Baghera is going to take forever especially when, after 24 hours, you don't get the item anyway.

Greg

Yep :?  I just got one stick/branch out of four 24 or 12 hour jobs.  New update is coming soon though so that should keep us interested :)

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

I got all the Lion King characters and am busily saving up for the next release.  Trying to level up my remaining characters as well.  I like the changes they made so you don't have to scroll through every single character to find the ones that you need to get the required items.  Not impressed that...

Very keen for this one, but will depend on what time I can get back from the city.  Swans are on :)

Re: Cars 3 ( could be spoilers)

It was good.  The story was lacking for me.  Too much of the original in there.  Animation was superb.  Really the best I've seen I think.  My former little Lightning McQueen obsessed kid was really adamant he didn't want to see it after that horrible first trailer, but he enjoyed it.  Not as much a...

Re: D23 2017

The Star Wars Hotel.... :o  I haven't told Jared yet.  He would LOSE HIS MIND.  Josh would love it too.  I think if we start saving now, we might be able to afford a night there in around 20 years or so....:?

Surely, SURELY we'll have to get at least half a year of cruise ships now - right?

Re: 2017 Club Meetings

How was the meeting?  I was flat on my back in bed after throwing my back out last Wednesday :(  I could have done with some Disney cheering up!

My birthday party - B&tB

I had my 40th on the weekend and we had a B&tB theme.  The first ever themed party I had and the first party I've had since my 21st.  It was amazing.  My sister in law did all the decorating and my niece, who is only 16 made the amazing cake for me.  Once it got dark, it was a total fairy land. ...

Re: Greg's May 2017 visit

The eldest (Ben) has a memory like an elephant so remembered A LOT.  When we went to DL in 2013 he was able to notice differences between Anaheim and Tokyo Disneyland.  He was six at Anaheim and 3 at Tokyo   He was making comparisons as we walked around the park in 2013... "In Tokyo, Spl...

Re: Greg's May 2017 visit

Three years between trips.  The shirt made it down two kids, the blue shoes (which middle child only ever wore on that trip) only made it down one child.  The goofy grin remained in place on middle child for the whole three years :D
