Re: Cars 3 ( could be spoilers)

It was good.  The story was lacking for me.  Too much of the original in there.  Animation was superb.  Really the best I've seen I think.  My former little Lightning McQueen obsessed kid was really adamant he didn't want to see it after that horrible first trailer, but he enjoyed it.  Not as much ...

Glad you problem was solved.

Yes - I liked The Lion King for that reason too - it was achievable.  I'm concerned this Aladdin one won't be as easy as I've had nothing drop yet and have been trying all morning! Arghhh.

But it is 25+ days.

Re: Today's Disney News from the front page...

Yes - I thought that too, but then I started to worry that the whack-jobs out there may start boycotting all things Disney because they were promoting violence through their Netflix business - it could be a double-edged sword... But the Disney company is so huge and convoluted these days that they ...

Re: Anyone else playing Kingdoms?

Yep, I got the update when i woke up this morning. It also seems to have solved my Timon and Pumba issue.

I didn't mind the timed Lion King event because I actually managed to get it done in the allotted time, unlike some of the past ones. I just wonder if it's not too soon after the last one.

They had decent bargains? My impression, at least of the one near me, was that it was selling the same stuff as Kmart but at a higher price.

Re: Today's Disney News from the front page...

I guess that buying and owning Netflix and keeping it as Netflix would enable them to show things (and keep making original shows) that would not fit as comfortably under a "Disney" branded service.

Yep :?  I just got one stick/branch out of four 24 or 12 hour jobs.  New update is coming soon though so that should keep us interested :)

I hope any update fixes my Timon and Pumba issue. Not being able to upgrade them is slowing progress down considerably.

Oooh, where is this?  I need to see it.  I loved the original Ducktales.  I have the DVDs at home and the kids all love them too - timeless :)

You can find the first episode on Youtube (or Google Play but I'm not sure about if in Australia or not). So far that's all that's been aired.

New Ducktales

I just finished watching the first two episodes of the new Ducktales series.

I really wanted to like it because I'm a huge Scrooge fan but I also didn't want to like it because the nephews have distinct personalities and because of the style of animation.

I really liked it.

Now I'm trying to do the mental arithmetic and realising that way back then (OMG, I"m old!) I knew a number of people who didn't even have email addresses.  ;-)

Baghera is going to take forever especially when, after 24 hours, you don't get the item anyway.

Re: Club Member Travel Thread

Grey is kind of a good word, although the day i took that photo was drizzly which didn't help. The day of the DMZ tour was clear, sunny and warm which made for perfect visibility peering over the border. Admittedly I only had a couple of days to wander around but i felt that Seoul lacked a defining ...
